Sometime choosing the right foods for the right time of day can be confusing. One of the best things you can do is have a healthy dose of protein and healthy carbs to start your day on the right foot. One of my favorite breakfast smoothies is my Lemon Blueberry Smoothie. It tastes great, and is so quick and easy to throw together on those busy mornings where you’re tempted to skip breakfast.
Grab your blender and throw everything in. You won’t regret it and you’ll have the energy you need to get through all those errands you’ve got planned.

- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- handful of frozen blueberries
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- ¼ lemon diced (with peel on but remove seeds)
- ½ frozen banana
- 5 ice cubes
